The Selection Process

Nominations for the CJKL FM Citizen of the Year Award are open to the public in the month of November. Send detailed information on your candidate to the CJKL Citizen of the Year Award , Box 430, K.L. P2N 3J4. Nominations are open in the month of November only.

A selection committee selects the annual winner. The award is presented at the Kirkland Lake and District Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner in Kirkland Lake (late January or early February).

CJKL FM Lifetime Achievement awards are presented at Rotary's Evening of Excellence dinner held in Kirkland Lake in the fall. The Lifetime Achievement award recipients are decided on by the selection committee.

The CJKL FM Citizen of the Year and the CJKL FM Lifetime Achievement awards are endorsed by the Corporation of the Town of Kirkland Lake.
